Special Events at the Farm for 2020
Dear Santa Event
We invite you and your family to experience the magic of Christmas here at the farm at the Dear Santa event. In our Christmas wonderland you will find arts and crafts, special Christmas treats, and a chance to visit and feed the animals! Next, your child will be able to send their letter to Santa before meeting the man himself. And the best part, each child will receive a personalized letter back to them in the mail from Santa! This event will be offered on weekends in December and pre purchasing your ticket is required.
Join us on weekends in December for an indoor Christmas light display. Walk through our transformed greenhouse and get lost in a magical Christmas wonderland! There will be several greenhouses decorated, each with their own theme. While this is our first year offering this event, you’re sure to be mesmerized by all the lights.
Come walk through five acres packed with brilliant colored sunflowers during our first ever Sunflower Festival at Gull Meadow Farms. Mark your calendars for August 9th-11th and August 16th-18th (weather dependent). With more than a dozen different colors of sunflowers, this is an event you do NOT want to miss!
Kalamazoo Balloon Fest
Join us on August 28th, 29th, and 30th for the 8th Annual Kalamazoo Balloon Fest. You don’t want to miss the breathtaking display of balloons taking to the skies. The best part? This is a FREE event! Regular admission will apply for the activities.
Grandparents Weekend and Touch-A-Tractor
A family favorite each fall! Join us on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th for this FREE event. You and your family will be able to discover and play on a variety of real tractors. If you wish to participate in our family activities, regular admission will apply. Take advantage of Grandparents weekend at the farm too! Grandparents may enter for FREE to activity areas with a paid child admission.
Giant Pumpkin Drop
Come join us at the end of October to watch some serious pumpkin destruction! We will have a large crane here to drop the biggest pumpkins we can find from nearly 100 feet. You don’t want to miss it! Stay tuned for date and time details.
